The Poor
20 something high school kids from our church just came back from their mission trip to Acapulco. They were doing construction work for a shelter for street kids. The kids ages range from 10-16 and all of them were very nice and lovable. Unfortunately, some of these street kids sell their bodies for prostitution so they can use the money for their drug addiction.One part of me says it's very sad and we can help by going down their to expand the shelter, send $, etc. The other part of me says what on earth were these adults doing by taking advantage of children so they can have a few immediate sinful pleasures. I was quite angry but then I thought that the Gospel is not only for the children but for the adults for they do not know better. What can we do to spread the good news?
