Complete Utter Helplessness
A state of complete utter helplessness is how I feel now as I was informed that my friend Luke suffered a stroke while recovering in ICU earlier this afternoon. The only one I can turn to is God since He's the only one who is in control. I cannot imagine what life is like not knowing Jesus as the Savior.

soooooooooo sorry to hear about your friend. you are right in saying that our hope must be otherworldly. knowing that we are made for eternity somehow makes all the hard stuff along the journey a bit more bearable... praying.
Thanks 2K & Tim. God's grace continues to rain upon us in the midst of this roller coaster b/c people who have never met Luke like y'all are praying for him. This is what's so great about belonging to Christ, and that is we all carry each others burden because Jesus carried ours on the cross. Thanks be to God!
