Great Sunday

First of all, check out this hilarious video!

Secondly, it's opening day for BASEBALL! I'm in the process of looking for my #1 team since the Marlins had a fire sale and got rid of most good players. Don't get me wrong, I still love the fish but it's hard to love them 100 percent when their own mgt does not seem to care about winning. Heck, the owner is talking about looking to move to another city. Anyone wants to convince me to join his favorite team? I'd like to remain in the NL though.

Last, Tony Stewart won the DirectTV 500 today. Go #20! See article for details.

Good Morn. fellow Floridian. You said on Wendy's blog you are from Orlando. I am in St. Petersburg. Part at your house for the Pepsi 400. You live closer! As far as your team goes, what about the Rays? New owners who give a shizzit. I am a diehard Yankee fan from Queens originally.

Hi. Yes. I truly am an English woman who LOVES Nascar in general, and Tony Stewart in particular. I would love to go to a race, but I dont think I will ever be able to afford to even get as far as travelling to America. No matter HOW much I want to. As for going to a race, I can but hope.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Hope we get to call in to each others blogs a little more!!

Tiredawg,
I just may consider the D Rays then. I read an article today about their new mgt. They are going to have free parking this year, refurbish the stadium (another reason I was not a fan as it was old and run down), and allow fans to bring in their own food and drinks.

How about that finish by Stewart huh? Beating Johnson to the finish.

To correct one thing, I started becoming a Marlins fan after they won the first World Series when all the good players were sold which is why I am proud the second time around b/c they did not buy the team like the Yanks and the Red Sox. I was glad they won the first time but weren't impressed with them though.

You're right in that business is business but the city did offer them a stadium, not as much as what they wanted is another issue.

Last, you mean to tell me that if the Cubbies traded all but two of their good players and decided to move to another city that you would still be a fan?

Thanks MVB, you have to work really hard to convince me to like the Yanks. I'd cheer for them if they weren't the highest paid team but they are and George's a good businessman b/c people pay extra when the Yanks come to town.
