Seems like the only one that is worth the risk is item 3, hi risks for hi rewards cuz if you die, you'll go down in flames and make the news. The worst is item 5, lo risk and lo pay, then if you die, no one knows since you're in the compactor @ the land fill!

a few years ago, locally, a refuse worker died when he ended up buried under a pile of garbage.
i can think of a less glorious way to go, but it would be hard to.
Interestingly, these jobs will probably be in high demand in 10-20 years as so many people nowadays pursue the professional careers. I wonder if that will affect these...intersting...stats.
I was pretty sure that fishers got paid a lot more. Perhaps that was for the more specific line of fishery in Alaska.
Being a fisherman their is certainly a LOT more dangerous then being a pilot.
My cousin is/was a fisherman in Alaska. It is possible to make more than that in annual salary in Alaska, but you have to fall into the right situation...the real perk for fishing in Alaska is that all the money is made in about 2-3 months. My cousin earned more than the listed stat, made it out alive, and lived on the beach in Thailand through the other 9 months.
Fleminator, why don't you send me an email where I can reach you. I will treat your email like I treat a worker in N Africa. Thanks.
I did ask the Beckster for your email but she said she doesn't have it nor does she care:o)
