Great Wall
So my bro has travelled to all continents except for Anarctica & Africa working for Gates & co. Anyway, he's in China for a month and sent me a few pics of his excursion from this past wknd. I have to admit I'm somewhat envious of him. He did say that Gates is hiring in Redmond tho, humnn, very tempting.

Those are some nice pictures. Going to see the Great Wall would be cool.
The things you can do with a vast supply of cheap & expendable labor...
Yes, the global economy is good.
Hehehe.
I was refering to the slave labor used to build the law.
Ah, a classic example of miscommunication where the sender's intented msg was not received by the hearer.
I agree that we should not support unethical practice be it slave labor or whatever. The Bible is very clear that we should not muzzle an ox, meaning that we pay what is due to the person. Doing otherwise would be cheating.
At the same time, there are people in third world countries that are willing to work at very low rates, rates which we considered to be proverty. However, if no one is forcing anyone to do anything and two parties come to a mutual agreement, then it's the free market working aside from unethical mandates. A vs that relates to this is when the AM worker agrees to work for X amt and the owner pays the afternoon worker the same wage and the AM worker complained. The owner said to AM you've agreed to it so why is it not fair.
Oh, 'sweat shops' run by Nike and stuff don't bother me, those people agreed to their wages and are probalby quite happy with them.
Slave labor... Sickening.
I understand FL is building a wall like this---keep all those northern snowbirds out of the state.
Let's see, he hasn't been to Antarctica or Africa. Tough call, I don't know which one I would detest going to more. I guess if I had to go on a business trip to either place, I'd have to pick Antarctica. Africa is the last place on earth I'd want to visit. To many people being killed by elephants lately. Penguins couldn't stomp you to death.
