Ladies & Gentlemen, the Duggars!
I've been thinking about what BikeBubba said in the second to the last post and I found one family that fits BB's comments. Yes, the Duggars have 16 biological children in their Covenantal fam! So if every single Christian family does this, then the earth will indeed be filled with good.
My question is why aren't more doing so than just having the avg 2.5 kids? Maybe it's cuz they have a vacation home, a boat, a 5k sq ft house...

Didn't I say that I wasn't part of the "overflow your quiver" crowd? :^)
We have a denomination, Lestadians, which is a Finnish Lutheran branch---very big in our school district. They believe in big families. When you go through the elementary school, in the 2nd grade area, they do a project where the kids paint a picture of their families. You'll see families of 3,4,5, then 15. The little figures cover the entire paper. You know they're from this group. They are very standoffish and consider themselves special. The locals call them the Finnish Mafia. Interesting group, they tend to manipulate and strong-arm by reason of their beliefs; but their beliefs tend to waver depending on what they want.
When the "clan" comes to mind, I think of extended families like cousins, uncles, etc but in this case it's just one fam. Yeah, I would not mess w/ that fam if I was still in grade school.
They can start their own Amway:o)
